I did a search...nope it's not really Aurora, but it's a real kit from a fan. Apparently some other non-Aurora monster-rod kits were made in a similar vein. Check it out!

I'll have to bookmark the Prof's site, some very cool fan made retro-style stuff like the Fly kit and package art. I remember the large Creature set that was posted here (or the whiteboard) some months back, if only that was released already.

There's this graphic design place called House industries that sells alot of great (but pricey) font packages, including fonts perfect for replicating the Aurora stuff. It even comes in an Aurora style box!

They even throw in a glow-in-the-dark Phantom t-shirt too.

Ya, if only it were a Polar Lights reissue it'd be a cheap buy. I dig the diver's mask light and bathtub job on his rod though.

Hey did you ever see the Horrora fake boxes? There's people out there that do replica Aurora boxes, but this guy creates his own ideas (with plenty of Lovecraft thrown in too):

Edit- those Lovecraft "kits" are very cool and I really like the "Aurora that should have been" superhero boxes!
